Video/Still

An ongoing series of HD videos that appear to be still images. These pieces required finding locations with little or no human presence, consistent ambient light, and little to no wind.

The concept of time is my main concern here; I ask the viewer to consider the different time scales in any given landscape. How does one capture the sense of geologic time?

Watching these is a little like staring at the minute hand of a clock. You don't notice the change until you look again and see that time has moved forward.
